For anyone dreaming of a log home, I would recommend that they consider purchasing a log home package from a Log Homes of America dealer and have J. L. Pace Construction build it. My wife and I did just that and we could not be more pleased with the results of those decisions. Last year, my husband and I hired Pace Construction to complete our Master Bedroom. Both James and Vincent Pace were professional, knowledgeable and excellent to work with during the entire process. They showed up on time, worked diligently and competently, and explained every step of the building process to us in layman’s terms. We were also impressed with the fact that Pace Construction told us up front what our options were, and gave us a great price. Never once did they go over their work estimate. In today’s society there are many individuals/companies who claim to be the best contractor. Many of us have experienced such cost with contracting/construction projects that were not satisfactory. It was for this reason I hired J.L. Pace Construction in the spring of 1996. Over the years he has completed a number of projects for me, including replacement of two wooden columns on my front porch with filter glass. No job was ever too small, as care was always given to provide the best professional job. In addition to carpentry work, his sons have provided painting for my home. His professionalism is unquestionable. I have had individuals over the years to check out his work in my home resulting in him being hired to do work for them.
