General Information:

We work out of our personal residence in Scottsville, VA, a small town about 20 miles south of Charlottesville, VA.

With the fast paced lifestyle that most people live today, we can build you a home of tranquility and rest. There is nothing more peaceful than walking through your front door to smell the aroma and feel the peacefulness of your log home.

We can work with you to customize one of our existing plans, your own design, or start from scratch.  We are glad to assist you as a "do-it-yourselfer" providing the necessary technical assistance or we can work with a general contractor of your choice, or complete your home to any stage you desire, from shell to completely finished home.

You won’t find our office located in a fancy model home. We welcome you to view our own personal home and we can arrange to show you finished homes of our gracious clients. We may have homes to show that are similar to what you have in mind, whether it be a particular design or log style. We do however; ask for advance notice to schedule these showings.
Why we chose Log Homes of America over other log home dealers:

After constructing several different types of log homes, and then constructing a log home from Log Homes of America, I knew as a contractor, I had found the best company and logs to deal with.  These logs interlock and seal.  With other packages you have to drill and drill, but with these packages they come with Olylog fasteners and you only have to drill once in place.  The quality of logs is outstanding.  If there is a shortage, there is no cost to you and the delivery of the shortage comes in a day or two.  These log packages far exceed my expectations


Our packages are provided by Log Homes of America. They offer log on log packages. The kits are double tongue and groove logs which are site cut by the builder saving you time and money. No time wasted trying to look at a layout to decide which numbered log goes where. More information is available at their website.
